Age: 6 months +
About: Bambinchen has been producing quality fresh whole goats milk formulas for over 20 years. Unlike Bambinchen, most other formulas use vegetables fats instead of milk fat, giving it an upper hand in nutritional benefits. It contains all the benefits of fresh goats milk & goes thru very little processing to preserve the nutrients in the milk. Bambinchen is gluten free & produced without the use of GMO engineering. It has a optimal protein content to prevent obesity later in life.
While cow's milk is mostly modified by adding whey and many different process steps to the baby's milk, the goat's milk for Bambinchen - except for the drying process - undergoes no change through processing.
As free-range grazing animals they look for the best grasses and herbs - because when it comes to food, goats are picky. They prefer to pluck only the tips of the grasses, nibble fresh leaves and nibble on the bark of woody plants with enthusiasm. Thus, season and main food type determine the taste of their milk.
The milk for Bambinchen is mainly supplied by white Saanen goats: these are the animals of an old dairy goat breed, which spread from Switzerland to the whole world. The lush green meadows of New Zealand provide you with the best milk.
Why Goats Milk: Goat's milk is a very good base for baby formula because of its goat kidney (apocrine secretion, similar to human breast milk). The formation of milk in the cow's udder leads to a merokrine secretion.
Goat's milk contains more short- and medium-chain fatty acids than cow's milk. These are more easily absorbed by the body than long-chain and therefore better digested. In addition, the fat globules of goat's milk are smaller than those of cow's milk. They give a larger overall surface and thus enzymes can split them better, which further improves the digestibility. Six of the ten essential amino acids that humans need to deliver through their diet are more abundant in goat's milk than in cow's milk. Particularly striking compared to cow's milk is the high content of free peptides and amino acids. Goat's milk is pure white, it already contains the finished vitamin A and hardly any provitamin A (carotene), which makes cow's milk look a bit yellowish. With these advantages, it is only logical to also offer infant formula based on goat's milk.
Nanny Care VS. Bambinchen: Both milks are very similar. The only major difference is the pasteurization process. Bambinchen is heat treated to preserve more goodness in the milk.
